General information about the toolbox
A workgroup set by Samarbeid for Sikkerhet (SfS) has discovered several links and documents that might be helpful for you that is working in relation to the verneombudsservice.

Our goal has been to develop best practices and should therefore be a good fundament for the work in the safety ombudsman service..

In this toolbox you will therefore find examples on how you can work goaloriented and effective and at the same time be able to track your cases. Furthermore we hoe that you will be able trough the toolbox in an easier way be able find documentation that exists concerning work environment, laws, rules, standards and best practices.

You should nevertheless be aware that there are many ways to do the work and there might be other alternatives to what we describe. You can do you choice yourself, but you have available in the toolbox a set of tools that other have found useful.

Use of toolbox
We have tried to make the toolbox easy to use. You will soon see that there are other paths that are leading to the same result even with different approaches to the task. .

When you are at the mainpage for the toolbox you will find the mail chapters in the panes that are on the top of the page. When clicking on those the undermenus will appear and also the documents and the links to other webpages.

Shall, must and should
If we write shall it means that this is requirements following regulations. If we are using must it means that it follows the rules without that being said explicit. It it says should it means that it is best practice, and that one should have something as good or better.
